Default PS3's special ability

I would never thought a gaming machine can do this but by using your PS3. You can find way to cure diseases. Software developed by students at Stanford University, [email protected] uses the power of PS3 to create a simulation so they can study protein folding and related diseases.

I never knew that a gaming machine could be a possible solution for future diseases. Anyone here with a PS3 is thinking of doing this project?

Check that link out.

Personally, I run the program whenever I'm not on my PS3/when I'm playing Guild Wars. (username on those forums is Scion and yes, I am an MVP)

Yeah this started for computers. Very similar to SETA's program except more likely to yield a result

Nice program to have on, only uses extra processing power so if your on at the same time you wont notice any changes. Plus you can feel good about yourself

*Edit*

Link to the d/l for those interested. http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html
